Control direction
In conjunction with the "Controller" option, the menu item "Control direction" is
interrogated in the P-menu. Available at the chlorine measuring amplifier are "Chlorine"
or "Dechlorination". Possible selections at the pH measuring amplifier are "Acid" and
"Alkaline".
This defines the activation behaviour of the output relay for the positioning element.
"Chlorine"
Control factor increases when the measured value is
smaller
than
the setpoint.
"Dechlorinate"
Control factor decrease when the measured value is
smaller
than
the setpoint.
"Alkaline"
Control factor increases when the measured value is
smaller
than
the setpoint.
"Acid"
Control factor decrease when the measured value is
smaller
than
the setpoint.
"Open"
Control factor increases when the measured value is
smaller
than
the setpoint.
"Close"
Control factor decreases when the measured value is
smaller
than
the setpoint.
Control deviation
The control deviation (Xd in %) represents the difference between setpoint and measured
value relative to the full range value.
Control deviation (Xd)
=
x 100 %
Example:
setpoint:
0.40 mg/l
measured value:
0.30 mg/l
full range value:
2.00 mg/l
control deviation:
+ 5 %
61
setpoint - measured value
full range value
