17.2 PRECONDITIONS FOR THE ADAPTATION
- Electric positioner or metering pump to be on automatic mode
- Calibrated amplifier (zero and DPD value)
- Dead time < 60 min.
- Raise time < 480 min. (8 h) for 0...100 % feed range
- Decomposition time of measured chlorine residual to 20 % of
measuring range < 480 min. (8 h)
- Correct menu programme of:
-
measuring range (RGE mg/l)
- direction of control (for example chlorine)
- positioner (for example electric positioner)
- positioner running time (Ty)
The adaptation should not be started at the following operating conditions:
- when high doses of fresh water have been added
- when the measuring cell is not yet run in
- while the pool is cleaned
- while filters are back-flushed
