PARAMETER SET-UP DURING INITIAL OPERATION
NOTE:
The following settings are reference values for the initial operation of a Cl
2
residual control system. The quality of regulation may be optimized by the user
himself with the help of a recorder.
It is essential to change only one controller parameter at a time and to check
the result after 2 to 3 days on the recorder tape.
It is recommended to change the prop. band Xp first and then the D-factor. It is
advisable to write the optimal user-specific values in the parameter and function
menus into the provided sticker in the terminal cover.
By measuring the dead times using a stop watch it is also possible to have the
controller parameters calculated automatically by the amplifier-controller (auto-
adaptation).
