USE OF THE ADAPTATION

The adaptation is used for the automatic determination of the reaction times of the
control loop (dead time Tu and raise time Ts) respectively of the resulting controller
parameters Xp and Tn.

The adaptation menu is accessible by code number 900.

IMPORTANT NOTE!

The controller parameters determined by the adaptation must be considered as
recommended values for the initial start-up! In order to obtain the best control quality
the controller parameters Xp and Tn may be optimized manually.
