AMPLIFIER

11.1

INSTALLATION

Mount the basic unit (dimensions W 337 x H 223 x D 223 mm) in the 4 mounting
holes. If the front door is closed, the enclosure is IP 65.
A maximum of 3 plug-in amplifiers and 1 COM interface card can be plugged into the
basic unit. The amplifiers can be combined in any desired way (e.g. 2 chlorine amplifiers
and 1 pH amplifier).
A basic unit for panel mounting of 3 amplifiers and 1 COM interface card is also
available (dimensions: see drawing U-95 649, U-95 820 and U-95 822).

The plug-in amplifiers (dimensions: W 76 x H 129 x D 160 mm) consist of a front
panel with keypad and 2 printed circuit boards (standard European dimensions: 100 x
160 mm).

As a result of the modular design, each amplifier has a separate power supply and a
separate microprocessor. In the event of a failure of one measuring system, the function
of the remaining amplifiers is not impaired. In this case, the unit can be repaired in a
quick and inexpensive way by the customer himself as he only has to replace the
defective amplifier.

Loosen the 4 mounting screws and pull the amplifier out of the basic unit.

The COM interface card (dimensions: W 20 x H 129 x D 160 mm) for data transmission
between amplifier and a printer or a PC has to be plugged into the first receptacle on
the right.

Any receptacle (amplifier or interface card) not in use has to be covered with a blind.
