OPERATION
1. Put the coated grill plate in posi-
tion with the desired side facing
upwards.
2. Ensure that the temperature
switch is in the „0/OFF“ position.
3. Plug the power cord of the appli-
ance into an electrical outlet
(220–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz).
4. Switch on the appliance via the
ON/OFF switch, if you want to use
the skewers.
5. Turn the temperature switch to
the desired temperature level.
The indicator lamp lights up. As
soon as the desired temperature
is reached the lamp goes out. The
indicator lamp switches itself on
and off alternately.
6. Pre-heat the appliance for approx.
15 minutes before starting to
cook the food.
7. For grilling we recommend the
highest level. Apply a little heat-
resistant oil to the grill plate
before placing food on it, for
example, coconut oil.
8. We recommend level 5 when
using skewers.
9. If the food browns excessively or
too quickly, lower the temperature
slightly.
10. After using the appliance, always
turn the temperature switch to the
„0/OFF“ position, switch off the
appliance via the ON/OFF switch,
and unplug the plug from the
electrical outlet.
11. Allow the appliance to cool for at
least 30 minutes.
12. Do not remove the grease drip
pan until after the appliance has
cooled. Even if the appliance has
cooled, the liquids contained in
the appliance can still be extre-
mely hot – danger of burn injuries!
13. Dispose of the collected liquids.
Please comply with the general ins-
tructions for the recipes as well.
Caution: The appliance is ext-
remely hot during and after
use!
The skewers continue to rotate
even when the switch is in the
„0/OFF“ position!
turing process. Open the window
during this burn-in phase. After
pre-heating the appliance there
may already be visible traces of
use; however, these do not affect
the function of the appliance and
do not constitute grounds for a
complaint.
11. After using the appliance, always
turn the temperature switch to the
„0/OFF“ position and unplug the
plug from the electrical outlet.
12. Allow the appliance to cool.
