11. Depress the Film Advance Button. The Primary Drive Roller will
start rolling causing the exposed film to move upward through the
exit guides. While this is happening, the LCD will display "FILM
ADVANCE" and the LED will begin blinking.
The Primary Drive Roller will stop turning when sufficient film has
advanced through the exit guides. Wait until the LCD displays
"READY" and the LED stops blinking before proceeding to the next
step.
12. Operate the knife (be sure that the LCD reads "READY" and the
LED has stopped blinking) by depressing the Cut Button. The film
will be cut and the LCD will display "CUT" for about 1 second. The
Transport Roller will begin to turn moving the film past the upper
rollers (the Secondary Drive Roller and the Secondary Pressure
Roller). At the same time, the LCD will display "FILM ADVANCE"
and the LED will begin blinking.
13. When sufficient film has advanced, The Primary Drive Roller will
stop turning, the LCD will display "NO CASSETTE" and the LED
will stop blinking. Remove the excess film and discard.
14. Replace the Take-up Cassette on the machine by aligning the slot
in the cassette with exit guides projecting from the top of the
machine. Press the Take-up Cassette down against the foam cov-
ered mounting surface. Note the embossed circle on the top of the
Take-up Cassette to identify the slot side. The machine is now
ready to receive data from the host system.

The LCD will display "NO CASSETTE" if the Take-up Cassette has
been removed or improperly installed on the machine.
