ATTENTION:
Before proceeding to the next section, ensure the
following:
●
The film is being
fed straight
(skewed film will track to one
side).
●
The film is lying
flat
on platen.
●
The are no
wrinkles
or
slack
in the film exiting the Supply Cas-
sette.
If everything is in order, skip the next section and proceed to
step 10. If corrective action is required, proceed to the following
step .
Perform these steps if there are wrinkles or slack in the film, or if
the film requires repositioning.
●
Lift the Pressure Roller Lever into the
up
(disengaged) position.
●
Ensure that the input cassette is positioned parallel to the out-
side edge of the MIC platen. If it is not, the Cassette Guide Blocks
may need adjusting. To adjust these blocks repeat the procedure
described in step 4.
●
Adjust the film on the MIC platen. If the film cannot be adjusted,
the Cassette Guide Blocks might need adjusting. Go back to step
4 and repeat procedure.
●
Push the Pressure Roller Lever to the
down
(engaged) position.
●
Go back to step 8 and repeat.
10. Close the Film Access Door.
