Problem
Cause
Possible solution
Increase the distance to the object
to be photographed.
The recordings
are not clear
(hazy).
The focus (distance to
the object) is not
correct.
Set the camera’s focus ring to the
correct position (see chapter
5.1.1).
No photograph is
taken when the
exposure button
is pressed.
The camera is still
busy saving the
previous photograph.
The photograph
counter flashes.
Wait until the photograph counter
no longer flashes. The camera will
then be ready.
The camera has been
connected incorrectly.
Reconnect the cables
There is no
connection with
the computer.
The camera is in the
‘Standby’ setting.
Turn the camera back on by
pressing the mode button.
The camera does
not give an image
in the application.
Another application is
open and is using the
camera image.
Close the other application first
before starting the test program.
Use the software to adjust the
surrounding lighting to 220V/50 Hz
(see chapter 8.1.4).
The image is
distorted; there
are waves
through the
image.
The indoor lighting is
affecting the
recording.
Reduce the camera’s number of
frames per second (see chapter
8.1.4).
