Specifying the input/output timeout
An input/output timeout occurs when the printer cannot detect the end
data code of a print job sent from the computer. The print job is
automatically cancelled in the case of an input/output timeout.
➜
Enter the number of seconds within which the printer must detect the
end of a print job.
Switching on/off the paper format error detection
You can specify whether the printer should respond when the paper fed
into the machine is different to the one set in the printer driver.
➜
Select “On“ to detect paper format errors.
➜
Select “Off“ to ignore paper format errors.
Activating page protection
With page protection activated, the printer reserves extra memory space
and waits until the data for a page has been completely loaded into the
printer memory. Only then does the printing process begin.
➜
Select “Auto“ to enable the printer to check each page of a print job in
advance and activate page protection if necessary.
➜
Select “On“ to enable the printer to always reserve sufficient memory
so that the data for one page can be completely loaded. This function
requires min. 6 MB RAM for resolution of 600 x 600 dpi.
