Checking TCP/IP Settings - Windows Vista
1. From the Start menu, right-click Network, then click Properties. Now, the Network and Sharing Center displays.
2. Under Tasks located on the left-hand side of the window, click Manage network connections.
3. In Network Connections window displays, right click on the correct Local Area Connection, then click Properties.
4. Pop-up window displays that states Windows needs your permission to continue. Click Continue to open the Local Area Connec-
tion Properties window
5. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4 ) , then click Properties. From the General tab, verify that Obtain an IP address
automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically are selected. Click the OK button.
