is displayed, perform the following steps:

Make sure the Desk Station IV is firmly connected to the computer’s
expansion bus port.
❑
Replace the Desk Station IV with a new one.
If the status still exists, go to Check 4.

is displayed, perform the following steps:

Make sure the AC adapter’s cable and AC cord are firmly plugged into the
DC IN 18 V socket and wall outlet.
❑
Connect a new AC adapter.
If the status still exists, go to Check 4.

is displayed, perform the following steps:

Make sure the battery pack is correctly installed in the computer.
❑
Replace the battery pack with a new one.
If the status still exists, go to Procedure 4.

When

is displayed, it indicates that the computer’s internal temperature is less
than –20°C or more than 110°C.

Place the computer in the room air until the PC temperature normalizes.
❑
If
P80
is displayed, even after the computer is placed in the room air until
the PC temperature normalizes, go to Procedure 4. A thermistor on the
power supply board might be damaged.
Check 6
When
P80
is displayed, it indicates that the computer’s internal temperature is less
than -20°C or more than 120°C.
❑
Place the computer in the room air until the PC temperature normalizes.
❑
If
P80
is displayed, even after the computer is placed in the room air until
the PC temperature normalizes, go to Procedure 4. A thermistor near the
CPU might be damaged.
Check 7
When
P10, P12, P20, P21, P22, P30, P31, P32, P33, P40, P41, P42, P50, P51,
P60,
or
P61
is displayed, go to procedure 4.
