Installing the Keyboard

To install the T4900CT’s keyboard, follow the steps below and refer to figure 4-15.

1.

Connect the 

keyboard cable

 to the 

pressure plate connector (PJ9)

 on the upper

system board.

2.

Seat the keyboard in the T4900CT.  Note that a fold is built into the keyboard
cable.  Do not try to bend the cable at any other point when you install the key-
board.

Install the top cover, HDD pack, optional PCMCIA card, optional memory card,
and battery pack as described in sections 4.6 back through 4.2.
