4.18 T4900CT TFT Color LCD Module

Removing the TFT Color LCD Module

To remove the T4900CT’s LCD module, follow these steps and refer to figure 4-42.

1.

Turn off the power to the T4900CT.  Disconnect the AC adapter, power cord, and
all external cables connected to the T4900CT.

2.

Remove the battery pack, top cover, and display mask as described in sections 4.2,
4.6, and 4.16.

3.

Remove 

four M2.5x6 screws

 securing the 

LCD module

 to the LCD cover.

4.

Carefully rotate the 

LCD module

 from left to right out of the display cover and

disconnect the 

cables

 from 

CN11

 and 

CN12

 on the LCD module.
