4.
Turn the T4900CT right side up so that the back of the computer faces you.
Remove
four M2.5x6 silver screws
securing the top cover at the back of the
T4900CT. If you are going to disassemble the middle frame, also remove two
M2.5x6 screws
securing the bottom cover (figure 4-12).

Turn the computer around so the front faces you and open the display. Lay the
display back fully. (Put a book or small box behind the display to support it.)
6.
Unsnap the
12 latches
securing the
top cover
to the bottom cover. Start by
pressing on the front of the
top cover
just in front of the space bar and rotate the
keyboard's front edge toward you to release the
front latches
(figure 4-13).
7.
Continue around the rim of the
top cover
until all latches are released, then care-
fully lift off the
top cover
(figure 4-13).
