Installing the Optional Memory Card
To install an optional memory card in the T4500/T4600 Family computer, follow the steps below
and refer to Figures 4-4 and 4-2.
1. The top of the optional memory card is marked with the word “insert” and an arrow
pointing toward the connecting edge. Turn the memory card so that it is facing up and
carefully insert the connecting edge (arrow first) into the slot. Gently push the card until it
firmly connects (Figure 4-4).

2. Close the expansion memory cover (Figure 4-2).
3. Install the battery pack as described in Section 4.2.
NOTE: The T4500/T4600 Family computer automatically configures all additional memory
as extended memory.
