T4500C 8.4-inch TFT Color LCD Module

Removing the T4500C 8.4-inch TFT Color LCD Module

To remove the T4500C’s LCD module, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-31 and 4-32.

1. Turn off the power to the computer; disconnect the AC adapter, power cord and all external

cables connected to it.

2. Remove the battery pack, optional memory card, optional PCMCIA card, top cover, display

assembly, display mask and FL inverter board as described in Sections 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.9,
4.13, and 4.14.

3. Remove one M2.5x6 screw securing the ground cable to the LCD cover (Figure 4-31).

4. Remove four M2.5x6 screws securing the TFT color LCD module to the LCD cover

(Figure 4-31).
