Two COM levels for the card modem can be selected: COM1 (IRQ4/
3F8H) or COM2 (IRQ3/2F8H). If you set this level to the same as
that of the serial port, the serial port setting automatically changes to
Not Used.

●

Power

This option allows you to turn the expansion cards on or off. Howev-
er, this option does not appear if you do not install the card or set the
PCMCIA Slot (or PC Card Slot 1 or 2) option to PCMCIA.

NOTE: The T4600 Series computer will only support an external FDD when connected to a
Desk Station IV or IV Plus. When connected to a Desk Station, the displayed options are

Use this option to assign the function of the External PRT/FDD port.
