Installing the Status Indicator Panel
To install the computer’s status indicator panel, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-13.
1. Connect the status indicator panel cable to PJ11 on the computer and lay the panel into a
recession in the protective metal plate.
CAUTION: The status indicator panel cable is delicate so be extremely careful not to
damage it when connecting it.

2. Install the keyboard, top cover, optional PCMCIA card, optional memory card and battery
pack as described in Sections 4.6 through 4.2.
