Step 17: Shut Down the Stratagy DK
Occasionally you will need to shut down, or exit, Stratagy call processing. Circumstances
include:
◆
Turning power off to perform hardware maintenance
◆
Moving the system to another location
◆
Works being carried out on the Strata DK system that require Strata DK system power
off
CAUTION!
Never shut Stratagy down by turning off the Strata DK’s power. Doing so
may corrupt the system files that are in use and damage the hard disk.
Perform the following first.
Important!
If work is to be carried out on the Strata DK system that requires its power to
be switched on and off Toshiba strongly recommend that the ‘Shutdown and
Stop for Power Off ’ option in the Stratagy DK shutdown menu is selected first.
Alternatively call into the system to select the User ID set for system shutdown
and stop. The Stratagy DK PCB should then be gently pulled forward so that it
is disconnected from the backplane. Only on completion of all works when the
Strata DK is ready for the final power up should Stratagy DK be plugged back
in. Strata DK must be powered off when Stratagy DK is plugged back in.
