When you click Remote Power Control with the OS stopped, the following screen
displays.
On this screen, you can force the power off at the Agent’s server (without performing
ordinary shutdown procedures such as saving disk caches), turn the power back on,
force a reboot (also without ordinary shutdown procedures), or force a system dump to
be taken.
Front Panel Indicators screen
This screen is not available on a Magnia 550D.
The Magnia Z300 is equipped with an upper and lower front panel indicator, each
displaying up to 16 characters (if a scroll is used, it displays 40 characters). The front
panel indicator has three display screens, and displays one of them.
These screens can be selected using the Display Change Button. One of the three
screens is used for notification of hardware-dependent errors. This screen is not
displayed during normal operation but is given priority over other screens if an error
occurs.
The other screens are {Panel View 1} and {Panel View 2}.
Item Explanation
Power off
WITHOUT
shutdown Forcibly turns off the power.
Power on Turns on the power.
Restart WITHOUT
shutdown Forcibly turns off the power and then restart the server.
Output forced
system dump Forcibly execute the system dump function.
Submit Performs the selected operation.
