Insert the Toshiba Companion Diskette into the diskette drive
and turn on the computer.
After a few minutes, a Welcome screen appears.

The Toshiba Companion Utility main menu appears.

Use the arrow keys to select
Exit to DOS

At the A:\ prompt, type
c:\toshiba\svpw
and press
Enter
.
The following message appears:
SUPERVISOR PASSWORD = Registered
Do you want to register the supervisor password <Y/N>?

Y

The following prompt appears:
Enter Password -->

Enter the password and press
Enter
.

At the system prompt, type
c:\toshiba\svpw
and press
Enter
.
If the password is correct, the following message appears:
SUPERVISOR PASSWORD = Not Registered
If the password is incorrect, the following message appears:
Password verify error
Do you want to retry <Y/N>?

Y
and reenter the password.

Enter the password and press
Enter
.
NOTE: After three attempts to enter the correct password, the
utility exits to the system prompt without deleting the
supervisor password.

simultaneously to return to Windows.
