Changing
Transaxle/Hydraulic Fluid
Service Interval:
Every 800 hours/Yearly (whichever
comes first)
1.
Position the sprayer on a level surface, set
the parking brake, stop the pump, shut off the
engine, and remove the ignition key.
2.
Place a drain pan under the drain plug of the
reservoir.
3.
Remove the drain plug from the side of the
reservoir, and let the hydraulic fluid flow into the
drain pan (

6.
Remove the strainer and clean it by back
flushing it with a clean degreaser.
7.
Allow the strainer to air dry.
8.
Install the strainer when the oil is draining.
9.
Install the hydraulic hose and 90° fitting to the
strainer.
10.
Install and tighten the drain plug.
11.
Fill the reservoir with approximately 7 L (7.5 US
qt) of Dexron III ATF.
Important:
Use only the hydraulic fluids
specified. Other fluids could cause system
damage.
12.
Start the engine and drive the sprayer to fill the
hydraulic system.
13.
Check the oil level and replenish it, if required.
Replacing the Hydraulic
Filter
Service Interval:
After the first 8 hours
Every 800 hours/Yearly (whichever comes first)
Use the Toro replacement filter (Part No. 54-0110).
Important:
Use of any other filter may void the
warranty on some components.
1.
Position the sprayer on a level surface, set
the parking brake, stop the pump, shut off the
engine, and remove the ignition key.
2.
Clean the area around the filter mounting area.
3.
Place a drain pan under the filter.
4.
Remove the filter (

Lubricate the new filter gasket.
6.
Ensure that the filter mounting area is clean.
7.
Screw the filter on until the gasket contacts the
mounting plate, then tighten the filter 1/2 turn.
8.
Start the engine and let it run for about 2 minutes
to purge air from the system.
