Adjusting the Traction System for Neutral (continued)
5. Tighten the locknut to secure the adjustment.
6. Set the key switch to the O
FF
position.
7. With the traction pedal in the N
EUTRAL
position, measure the air gap between
the face of the neutral switch and the pump lever and adjust if necessary;
refer to
Adjusting the Traction Neutral Switch (page 6–29) .
8. When finished, remove the jack stands and lower the machine to the ground.
9. Test the machine for proper traction system operation before returning the
machine to service.
