PROCEDURE

 

Rear view of the unit showing location of charger plug

Inspect and replace the charger if it has been dropped 

• 

or damaged in any way. Inspect the cords and 

connectors for cracks and fraying. If cracks or frays are 

detected, replace immediately.
Plug charger into appropriate 3-prong extension cord.

• 

Watch Charger LED Indicator to verify charging has 

• 

begun per next section,
Open the cargo box and any door enclosures or zippers. 

• 

This will decrease charger temperature, which allows it 

to operate more efficiently, and shorten charge times. 

Always use extension cords with the appropriate ratings 

for the country in which it is used. In North America 

this is a UL rating. The cords must also be rated for 

the conditions in which they are used, such as being 

rated for protection from oil in a garage or workshop 

environment.
