STORAGE & CLEANING
STORAGE
When your VANISH is to be stored for a period of more than 60
days, certain preparations should be made for the motor and
fuel system to prevent rust and/or corrosion of motor parts.
Supplies Needed:
Vinyl & rubber protectant •
SAE 80W-90 transmission oil •
SAE 80W-90 rear gearcase oil •
Clean, wash, and dry VANISH. Apply vinyl and rubber 1.
protectant to all vinyl and plastic surfaces.
Clean battery leads and charge batteries with on-board

Drain and refill the transmission oil with 20.3 oz. (600

Charge batteries fully before storing the vehicle.
Turn the key off, place FWD/REV switch in Neutral, 1.

the parking brake.
Fully Charge the batteries. If possible, keep the battery

will not discharge. A computer on the charger will
automatically monitor and charge the batteries. If a
reliable AC power supply is not available, disconnect
the charger from the vehicle and disconnect the
batteries.
