Place the direction selector to neutral 23.

TRANSMISSION OPERATIONAL
INSTRUCTIONS: (NEUTRAL, HIGH, LOW)
Your VANISH is a high torque UTV and its design •
provides the operator with a wide range of power and
gear inputs to ideally suit most conditions.
The VANISH is unique as it has a 2 Speed Mechanical
•
Transmission. While it needs no clutch to shift from
High to Low Gear the VANISH is designed to require a
specific procedure to change the transmission gears.
The Gear Selector,
• N , H , L is designed to be shifted
only when the Vanish is stopped and the motor is not
turning.
For most conditions High Gear will provide the best
•
range and will traverse most terrain.
Push the side button to go from High Gear to either Low
•
or Neutral
It is not necessary to push the button on the side to go
•
into High from Low or Neutral Gear.
Neutral Gear serves as the Run/Tow Switch that is in
•
a conventional electric vehicle. The Vanish is the only
Electric UTV with this Neutral feature and eliminates
the need to get off and reach under the vehicle when
needed.
SHIFTING FROM HIGH GEAR TO LOW GEAR
With the high torque available from the motor and •
transmission combination the Vanish is designed to
protect the transmission from damage when shifting to
Low Gear.
Bring the VANISH to a complete stop and ensure the
•
motor is not turning
Press the side button and push the gear shift lever
•
upwards to Low Gear
