Lightly press the accelerator for the first few feet, if the •
Vanish goes a few feet and stops then fully release the
accelerator pedal momentarily and Low Gear will fully
engage and you can apply power and continue on.
If this occurs the transmission is operating correctly,
•
with the exceptionally high torque at low RPM the
transmission shifting mechanism is designed to protect
the transmission gears by forcing a restart in Low Gear
to ensure full engagement.
POWER MODE SWITCH
(M) Move the switch to the upper position to select the
Maximum Range (M) mode. Use this mode to operate the
vehicle a greater distance or for a longer time period. This
mode limits both speed and torque to obtain the maximum
driving range. Use the following table to select the Power and
Transmission combination that best suites your terrain and
operation goals.
(H) Press the middle position of the switch to select High (H)
mode. Use High (H) mode for most on-road conditions. The
vehicle will operate at speeds up to 25 MPH (40 km/h).
(L) Press the bottom of the switch to select Low (L) mode.
Low (L) mode is recommended for short-term operation in
extreme load conditions. Use Low mode when towing, hauling
loads or maneuvering over obstacles. Speed will be limited
to a maximum of 15 MPH (24 km/h) and regenerative braking
increases to improve control in aggressive terrain. Return the
mode switch to High mode for normal operation.
