Axiom Plus PV10, PV20 & PV30
Axiom Plus systems operate from single or three phase power,
50/60Hz. Nominal input ranges are 115Vac or 208/230Vac. The
switch on top of the unit should be set to reflect the proper range.
Motor performance is dependent on input voltage. Refer to
motor/drive performance curves in Appendix C for performance
information. Refer to Appendix B for input power requirements and
fuse accordingly. The use of properly sized time delay fuses will
minimize any nuisance trips due to inrush current at power up.
Note: Although fuses are recommended, long trip delay circuit
breakers may be used. Refer to Appendix B for information on drive
inrush ratings and specify circuit breakers accordingly.
Axiom Plus units are designed for direct connection to an ac power
main. No isolation transformer is necessary.
Note: It is always advisable to use three phase power whenever
available. Three phase power will ensure a minimum of motor bus
voltage ripple. This will provide for the smoothest possible motor
torque and help ensure maximum life of the internal bus capacitors.
It may also aid in plant power distribution.
