Alert Priority
Alerts are provided with three levels of priority corresponding to alert descriptions: Alarm,
warning and caution.

(The operator should stop the
automatic steering and switch to
the manual steering because the
steering by the system may be
unavailable)

Sound three times
with short sounds
“beep beep beep”.
It repeats every
seven seconds
unless pressing
ACK key.
Middle
W
:
Warning
Alert not requiring immediate action
but immediate attention.
(After acknowledging the alert
displayed on the system, take
measures depending on the
situation. Some alerts escalate to
alarms if acknowledging after a
certain time.
Yellowish
orange
Sound twice with
short sound “beep
beep”.
It repeats every 60
seconds until
pressing ACK
key.
Low
C:
Caution
Alerts not falling under alarm and
warning.
(The alert does not have an influence
on the current steering. Recover it
before switching the steering mode
from the manual to the automatic
steering.)
Yellow
None

This equipment has no alert which priority is specified as alarm level.

Note

This equipment has no Category A alert.
Category A: Alert which allows an operator to acknowledge (ACK operation) alerts
activated in the system only by operating the system.
Category B: Alert which allows an operator to acknowledge (ACK operation) alerts
activated on the system by operating either the system or external
equipment (CAM-HMI)
