Measuring reagent tests, external barcode reader
For each method that can be measured with a reagent test, there is a cus-
tomary barcode. This is in the header line of the method description. In addi-
tion, it can also be downloaded from our website so that you can use it in your
own documents (e.g. a SOP).
Furthermore, on most reagent packagings, there is a barcode that indicates
the associated method. For reagents that can be used for several methods,
in this case the barcode indicates the most frequently-used method.
By scanning this barcode with the external barcode reader, the correspond-
ing method is selected (see also Section 3.4.5).
