BATTERY MAINTENANCE
Battery recharge
If the battery voltage is lower than 12.2 Volt, the battery must
be recharged:
- check that the battery charger is compatible to charge the
battery;
- connect the positive “ ” red terminal of the battery charger to
the positive “ ” red pole (a) of the battery;
- connect the negative “ ” black terminal of the battery charger
to the negative “ ” black pole (b) of the battery;
- turn on the battery charger and let it go until it is fully charged;
- disconnect the negative “ ” black terminal of the battery
charger from the negative “ ” black pole (b) of the battery;
- disconnect the positive “ ” red terminal of the battery charger
from the positive “ ” red pole (a) of the battery.
Battery replacement
If the battery suddenly fails or no longer holds a charge, replace it:
- disconnect the black “ ” negative pole terminal (b) from the
battery;
- disconnect the positive “ ” red terminal (a) from the battery;
- replace the battery with a new battery with the same
characteristics;
- connect the positive pole terminal “ ” red (a) to the battery;
- connect the negative pole terminal “ ” black (b) to the
battery.
WARNING: If the machine does not switch on or does not make any movement, check that the positive pole
terminal “ ” red (a) and the negative terminal “ ” black (b), are not oxidized and are correctly fixed to the poles
of the battery.
