Check on the pesticide container the dose recommended by the manufacturer and do not exceed that dose.
Calculate the dose of pesticide according to the amount of water poured into the tank, then enter it into the tank.
Verify, in the case of use of solid pesticides, that in the hatch filter there are no undissolved residues of the pesticide.
In that case dissolve them, adding water.

PREPARATION OF THE MIXTURE
ATTENTION: Before beginning the spraying, leave the engine running for a few minutes so that the mixture is
thoroughly mixed with the water of the tank through the mixing circuit.
ATTENTION: To clean the empty mixtures containers, rinse them thoroughly with clean water and pour the
residue of washing into the atomizer provided for treatment; otherwise dispose of the residue according to the
regulations in force in the country where the Atomizer is being used.
DANGER: The preparation of the chemical dose and of the mixture is a delicate and important operation that can
pose serious risks to people, animals, and the surrounding environment.
It should therefore be carried out with the utmost care and professionalism.
Always wear the suggested protective clothing (gloves, goggles, overalls) and follow the instructions of
prudence given in this manual.
ATTENTION: Deliver empty, thoroughly washed containers to an authorized toxic waste disposal centre.
If the above rules are not respected, there is a residual risk of intoxication and/or environmental contamination.
Before switching on the engine:
- check engine oil level (e)
- check fuel level (f)
To switch on the engine:
- shift the fuel lever (a) to ON.
- if the engine is cold shift the air lever (b) to the closed position.
- turn the key (d) clockwise a bit further for a few seconds until
the engine starts; if the engine does not start within 10
seconds release the key and try again;
- if the air lever was in the closed position at the start gradually
shift it to the open position as the engine warms up.
- if the engine is cold let the engine idle for 2-3 minutes.
To switch off the engine:
- turn the key anticlockwise;
- shift the fuel valve lever (a) to OFF.

SWITCHING ON THE ENGINE
ATTENTION: Before starting the engine, consult the attached engine Use and Maintenance Manual.
ATTENTION:
Carbon monoxide is a toxic gas: Breathing it can cause loss of consciousness and death. Avoid areas or actions
that will expose people to carbon monoxide.
If you notice any unusual noises or if the engine is not running properly switch off the engine immediately and
contact TIFONE AMBIENTE Customer Care.
