4.1 Tools and Supplies

The LTQ requires very few tools for you to perform routine maintenance 
procedures. You can remove and disassemble many of the components by 
hand. The tools, equipment, and chemicals listed in Table 4-2 are needed for 
the maintenance of the API source, ion guides, mass analyzer, and ion 
detection system.
