PDM3700 Instruction Manual
2-27
The PDM3700 status codes are as follows:
●
TE not detected.
This condition is reported when the PDM3700 unit
senses that the mass transducer has been removed from the unit.
●
High filter load.
This condition is reported when the PDM3700 unit
senses that the TEOM filter is approaching its maximum capacity. At
this point, the filter can accept approximately -50 mmHg of additional
particulate matter load before it must be replaced with a new TEOM
filter (Section 2). This condition is reported when the minimum filter
differential pressure exceeds -110 millimeters-Hg (-4.3 inches-Hg).
●
Flow out of range.
This condition is reported when the main flow rate
(l/min) deviates from its set point by 0.1 l/min for more than 3
minutes.
●
Mass offset.
This condition is reported when the PDM3700 unit
detects an instantaneous, significant and sustained change in the total
mass value. It is designed to indicate that an event has occurred that
may invalidate the current sample run.
●
CPU fault.
The PDM3700 unit has detected a problem with its
internal CPU board.
●
Power low.
The PDM3700 unit has detected that the power remaining
in the battery has reached a critically low level.
●
TE frequency.
The TE frequency is outside the acceptable range for
more than 60 seconds.
●
PDM CPU reset.
The PDM3700 has detected an issue with the
internal CPU board and has reset the program.
●
Power low shutdown.
If the PDM3700 senses the power low condition
for more than 5 minutes, the instrument will shutdown to protect the
CPU.
PDM CPU reset
The PDM3700's CPU was reset
Power low shutdown
The PDM3700 was shutdown due to
insufficient power
TE Temp out of range
The difference between the mass
transducer and the setpoint is greater
than 1
°
