You can connect to the FTIR via Serial or Ethernet communications. Refer
to
Figure C–1
and the “Installation” chapter. For Modbus over Ethernet,
use TCP port 502 by default (user selectable).
The terminal block shown in
Figure C–1
provides a convenient way to
connect devices to the instrument.
Note
Consult with a network engineer or system administrator for
information about making the appropriate Ethernet connection for your
application.
