Troubleshooting Leaky Source Gases 

If the ISQ EC or ISQ EM is having problems with leaky source gases, try 
tightening the spray chamber pins.

Shut down and vent the instrument as described in Section

 6.7

. 

2)

 

Remove the source housing as described in Section 

5.5.5

. 

3)

 

Check if the spray chamber pins are tight. If they are loose, use a T10 
screwdriver to tighten the spray chamber guide pins as shown in Figure 
122.
