7. Follow the prompts on the screen to rinse membranes. The prompts

will ensure that you do not have a tank connected to the TII unit by
asking if the tank is empty and if the tubing from the tank goes to
drain. Answer yes to both questions. Once initiated, the rinse
procedure will last two hours, and will stop automatically.

Caution

Do not allow the Thermo Scientific TII to operate unless water is

available to the unit.

Warning

Use a properly grounded electrical outlet of correct voltage and

current handling capacity.

After performing an RO membrane rinse, connect the TII to a storage
reservoir. Refer to the Thermo Scientific TII Storage Reservoir manual.

Note

Install reservoir at the same height or higher than the TII system.

Outlet of the reservoir must be at or above the inlet of the TII.
