i. To confirm the result, select “OK”
ii. By confirming result, “N.I.S.T. Calibration” Menu will appear.
Note
Causes of calibration failures include:
•
Expired N.I.S.T. Module E1403X5, the last validation of the module is
more than one year ago. To correct this, repeat the calibration with a
validated N.I.S.T. module.
•
Usage of any other module other than E1403X5. To correct this, repeat
the calibration with the correct N.I.S.T. module.
•
During the calibration process, the module was unplugged (repeat the
calibration procedure).

9. To view or clear the current offsets, navigate to the “N.I.S.T.
Calibration” Menu and select “Show/Clear Offset”.
10. To leave the “N.I.S.T. Calibration” Menu, press the return button.
The N.I.S.T. module used for calibration of the sensing electronics should
be validated at least yearly. The validation date of the module is stated on
its validation certificate.
After the expiration of the prior validation, the module can be sent back.
To do this, contact your local distributor or Technical Services.
