Caution — Jumper JP3303, Boot from System Flash, and Jumper JP3304, Boot from User Flash should
not both be set to 1-2. If this does occur System Flash will take precedence over User Flash. In order to
boot from the User Flash, set JP3303 to 2-3 and JP3304 to 1-2.
Figure B-1 "Baseboard Jumper Locations" on page B-3, provides the location of the various jumpers on the
USPIIi-1v baseboard. Note that the number 1 position on the jumper is identified with a square marking for
the pin instead of a circle.
JP3302 1-2 Set the User Flash to Read-Only
(1-2 is the same as the default. The default is Uninstalled)
2-3 Allow writes to the User Flash
JP3303 1-2 Boot the OBP from an external ROM through a ROMBO connector
2-3 Boot the OBP from System or User Flash
(2-3) is the same as the default. The default is Uninstalled)
JP3304 1-2 Boot the OBP from the User Flash
2-3 Boot the OBP from the System Flash/ROMBO
(2-3 is the same as the default. The default is Uninstalled)
JP3801 1-2 Enables the USPIIi-1v’s assertion of SYSRESET_L to the VMEbus (Default)
