b. Note automatic CDI needle scaling change from :f:5.0 nm
to :f: 1.0nm over the next 30 seconds.
c. Update the KLN 94 altimeter baro setting as required.

4. Select NAV 4 page to fly the.approach procedure.
a. If receiving radar vectors, or need to fly a procedure turn or

b. If receiving radar vectors, choose VECTORS. as the IAF,
activate vectors when the first vector for the approach

received and leave the unit in LEG mode:

is mandatory from the FAF to the MAP.
NOTE
NAV or APR coupled DME arc intercepts can result
in excessive overshoots (aggravated by high ground
. speeds and/or intercepts from inside the arc).
