15.3. Message notify on Display

Many PBX, when they work with T40 integration, have the possibility to notify new messages through a
visual signaling (turning on a led or writing a message on the display of the phone).

In some PBX, when the user lift the handset, a different dialing tone or a vocal message is played to inform
messages presence on T40 mailbox.

To activate this kind of services, T40 sends with each call to the PBX a particular code. Due to the fact that
integrated functions are not the same for all PBX, please see the PBX specific T40 addendum manual that
better explains these features.

The addendum manual comes with a T40 equipped with your PBX requested integration capability.
