11.5. Configuration changing
Each mailbox owns information parameters about voice mail, call filtering, exit tables actions, etc..
By phone call it’s possible (for the maibox owner) to manage most of these individuals parameters; to enter
to the mailbox configuration, press “3” from main menu. The following options are then availables:
Welcome message setup.
This is the message played to caller before the recording starts
(for ex. “I’m Mr Smith, I’m not available at the moment, please leave a message after the tone,
I’ll call you back soon…”). If mailbox owner doesn’t record this individual message T40 uses a
standard default message (“please leave a message after the tone”).
Password modify.
This function allows individual password change (max 9-digit length).
Notify function.
T40 uses this function to notify to extension owner new messages present in
mailbox. (“Attention, there are new messages on your mailbox…”).
Filtering functions.
T40, in automatic attendant mode, will manage callers according to this
set of parameters.
