9. LINES CONFIGURATION
9.1. Introduction
T40 simultaneously handles up to four lines, even managing them in different modes. In fact, you can chose
a different menu for each line, giving the possibility to obtain different incoming messages, different behavior,
and separated time related menu activation for each week’s day.
For example, T40 can be ideally split to serve two small companies that uses the same PBX, with different
working hours.
9.2. Management

create it. From main windows, select “Lines”:
You can set the behavior for each line of the system. To move across fields, use the direction up and down
keys.
Day menu name:

change menu name.
Night menu name:

Integr. enabled:
If T40 is services integrated with the PBX, you can set if this line is programmed as
integrated services Voice Mail. Setting the integration active on lines that are not defined as services
integrated also on the PBX, will delay the incoming message play to callers (T40 waits for PBX DTMF
strings).
Select Extension:
it enables callers to directly dial an extension, during menu message playing. Otherwise
the user can only select digits programmed in the system menu.
Repeat 1st menu:

Next menu:
