6.2 Voice Dialer
The programming of the following addresses concerns the operation of the ECLIPSE 8/ 16/ 32 control panels with
mounted voice dialer.

Programming of option for the voice dialer
The options are common for all programmed telephone numbers.
Use the digit buttons 1 and 2 to
set the option numbers. Every pressing of the button changes alternatively the option status.
At this address you set the following options:

Sending a
report for
event
Sending of a report upon occurrence of an event.
Disable

– The report sending is disabled.
Enable
(1)
– The dialer will send rapport upon occurrence of an event to the
programmed phone numbers at addresses 61x0, where “x” is phone number.

User
management
User management via external telephone line.
Disable

– The user management is disabled.
Enable

– The user management is enabled – see also the algorithm for
user management in APPENDIX 4.
Indication:
LCD:
In the text menus the
option is enabled with pressing button “1” – a check mark appears in
front of the text.
LED:
Press a digit button corresponding to the number of the option. The zone numbers
corresponding to the enabled options are lighting on.

Programming of number for message repetitions for the voice dialer
The Engineer sets the number for message repetition for the voice dialer in this address. Set a value
from 0 to 9. When setting value 0, the dialer will send the message for events occurrence without
repeating it; when the value 1 is set, the dialer will send the message for events occurrence and will
repeated it ones, and so on. The entered value is confirmed with ENTER button.

Programming of number for dialing attempts for the voice dialer
The Engineer sets the number of dialing attempts to the telephone numbers set at addresses 61x0,
where “x” is phone number, for the voice dialer. Use the digit numbers to enter a value from 1 to 9.
When setting the value 0, the dialer will make only one attempt to dial the set phone numbers; when
the set value is 1
– two attempts, and so on. The entered value is confirmed with ENTER button.
