Triggering
To use the oscilloscope to sample a signal and digitize it into a waveform record
that you want to process, you need to set up the trigger conditions. This section
provides background on and procedures for using the basic elements of
triggering:

Trigger Concepts: Basic principles of triggering including type, source,
coupling, holdoff, mode, and so on.
H
Triggering from the Front Panel: Using the front-panel triggering controls.
H
Additional Trigger Parameters: Accessing common trigger functions in the
Trigger Setup control window.

Advanced Triggering: Trigger types that you can use to trigger the oscillo-
scope on specific conditions.

Sequential Triggering:
Combining the A (Main) and B (Delayed) trigger
systems to capture unique events.
