Resetting the decoder
You can reset the decoder to the factory default settings at any time by writing any value other than 128
to CV8. After performing decoder reset, almost all the Lokommander II CVs will have the factory default
values (see the Default Value column in the Table 7
). When using tOm Programmer, the reset can
be performed also by pressing "Reset CVs" button in the Firmware TAB.
There are 2 CVs will not be reset to factory default values: CV105 and CV106. These CV are storing
user-specific information (such as: serial number, identifier, inventory number, etc.). Their value is supposed
to be changed by the user in the same way as all the CVs can be written.
A firmware upgrade will enter the default values in CV105 and CV106. To preserve their value,
make a backup of the CVs before firmware upgrade (using the tOm Programmer)
By resetting the Lokommander II decoder, the CVs of the connected SUSI modules will not be reset.
