6.9. THERE IS NO HEART RATE SIGNAL
6.9.1. T
ELEMETRIC RECEIVER

The machine displays this error if:
1. electromagnetic noise saturate the HR receiver which does not display any value due to a
specific SW filter which cut every signal, greater than 220 bpm;
2. the receiver is not working properly;
3. the receiver is not supplied by the display board.

Follow the procedure step by step to correctly diagnose the problem. Take particular care with the
checks highlighted by circled numbers, which are described in detail below:
(1)
Carry out the troubleshooting procedure 6.10. “The telemetric hr signal is incorrect”.
(2)
Place the tester probes across pins 1 and 2 of connector HD4 of the HS / cardio receiver
board. The measured value should be +5 Vdc.
(3)
As for step (2) but across pins 1 and 5 of connector CN9 on the display board.
