CENTERING THE TREAD BELT

Figure 8.3-1

Start the machine at a speed of 10 km/h.

Observe the movement of the tread belt,
correcting any tendency to shift to the right
or left exclusively by adjusting the left
tension screw

. Locking down this screw

favors shifting of the belt to the right and
vice versa.

Gradually increase the speed to 16 km/h,
making any small adjustments that are
necessary until the tread belt is perfectly
centered.
