Websaw Calibration
Jog wood through to determine if fence angle is correct
Pick a straight board, which is the longest board that you are likely to cut with the TCT Websaw.
Normally this would be a 20 foot board.
Start the board off aligned with the fence and jog the board all the way through the Websaw. Take
careful note of the boards' tendency to stay against the fence or to ride away from the fence.
If the board rides away from the fence you will need to adjust the fence. Start by moving the outfeed
side of the fence towards the front of the Websaw. Never make vast movements of the fence.
Normally one full turn of the fence bolt is more then adequate. Once you make an adjustment you
will need to realign the two fences using a straight edge (6 foot level).
As in the diagram above a normal fence will have about ¼ to ½ inch angle which causes the board to
ride against the fence.
